Gus Moon has landed opening gigs for such acts as Peter Case, Carrie Newcomer, Nate Currin, Dave McMillan and Fort Frances, among others.

The track "Once In A While" from the 2012 debut Worn Out Shoes was selected to be part of a Sustainable Indiana compilation disc which includes music from artist's such as Jason Wilbur, Krista Detor, Tim Grimm, and Carrie Newcomer.

In 2014, Gus Moon recorded the Splendid Noise EP at Primary Sound Studio with engineer Jake Belser (John Mellencamp, Tim Grimm, Murder By Death) which brought together Gus Moon's backing band. The song "Ticket-Taker Blues" can

be heard in the award-winning 2015 indie film, "Reparation."
